Hayley Williams has posted footage of herself recording a cover of Loretta Lynn’s “You Ain’t Woman Enough,” which will be included on Lynn’s upcoming 50th Anniversary compilation. The video, which is hosted on Williams’ tumblr page, also features Paramore guitarist Josh Farro on guitar, and was recorded with Chad Howat from Paper Route at their studio, Joy Mansion.
As far as the video itself, Williams (who prefaces her post with the statement, “Welcome to the crappiest editing job you’ve ever seen”), has spliced together various clips from the studio. The only thing we were truly able to take away from the video is the fact that her pipes sound truly amazing on this cover song. Williams also mentions that she “heard there are a lot of incredible artists” on the tribute, so once we get the full tracklisting we’ll let you know.
