Rihanna cancel tour dates

Rihanna must be hanging out with Christina Aguilera a lot lately because she’s already canceling tour dates before her tour has even started, much like X-tina recently did. The pop songstress canceled her tour opening concert on July 2 at the White River Amphitheater in Auburn, Washington, citing “production changes.”

As of right now it seems like the other dates are moving ahead as planned and the tour will now officially begin on July 4th in Vancouver. Additionally, the July 22 show in Phoenix and the July 24 gig in Dallas have both been canceled, although Ri-Ri has yet to give a statement on exactly why those dates aren’t happening.

You may remember that Nicki Minaj was originally slated to be one of the opening acts for this tour, alongside Ke$ha, but Minaj backed out shortly after the tour was announced. The reason Minaj gave was that she needed to concentrate on recording her debut album. Travie McCoy is now slated to take her opening spot.

When asked what fans should expect on the tour Ke$ha explained, “It definitely is going to have, like, a dance-party vibe. I just want it to be really, really fun. Let’s just say I can’t disclose, but I have, like, a really, really awesome thing that’s going to happen… and you can only understand it if you see it in person.”
